At GaleoSelect, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy explains our refund process for subscription payments.

GaleoSelect is committed to customer satisfaction. We offer refunds under specific circumstances outlined in this policy. All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness to both our customers and our business.

By subscribing to GaleoSelect, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy. This policy is subject to change, and we will notify users of any material changes.

You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (New Subscribers)

First-time subscribers to any paid plan (Professional or Studio) are eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the initial subscription purchase. This applies only to your first payment and does not apply to renewal charges.

Service Issues

If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the service as intended, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a prorated refund.

Duplicate Charges

If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription period, the duplicate charge(s) will be refunded in full.

Unauthorized Charges

If you notice an unauthorized charge on your account, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and process a refund if the charge is determined to be unauthorized.

Important Deadlines

  • New subscribers: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of initial purchase
  • Service issues: Must be reported within 30 days of the billing date
  • Duplicate/unauthorized charges: Must be reported within 60 days of the charge date

Refund requests submitted after these timeframes may not be honored. We encourage customers to review their billing statements regularly and contact us promptly if any issues arise.

Step 2: Provide Required Information

Include the following details in your email:

  • Your account email address
  • Transaction/receipt number (if available)
  • Date of the charge
  • Reason for requesting a refund (be as specific as possible)
  • Any relevant screenshots or documentation supporting your request

Step 3: Wait for Review

Our billing team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond with a decision. We may reach out for additional information if needed.

Once your refund request is approved, the processing time depends on your payment method:

Credit/Debit Cards

Refunds to credit or debit cards typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your card issuer's processing time.

PayPal

Refunds to PayPal accounts are typically processed within 3-5 business days.

Other Payment Methods

For other payment methods processed through Paddle (our payment processor), refunds are typically completed within 5-10 business days.

Note:

GaleoSelect initiates refunds promptly, but the actual time for funds to appear in your account depends on your financial institution or payment provider.

The following are generally not eligible for refunds unless required by applicable law:

  • Renewal charges: Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) after the initial 14-day period
  • Partial billing periods: Unused time remaining in your billing cycle after cancellation
  • Downgrade differences: The difference in cost when downgrading from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan
  • Free tier: The free tier does not involve charges and is not subject to refunds
  • Violations: Charges related to accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

Pro Tip:

To avoid unwanted renewal charges, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your GaleoSelect account or by contacting our support team at support@galeoselect.com. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles
  • You can still access your galleries and download your content until the end of the paid period
  • After the period ends, your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or become read-only

Data Retention After Cancellation

We retain your account data for 30 days after your subscription expires to allow for easy reactivation. After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted. We recommend downloading your content before canceling.

Important:

Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. Refunds are only provided according to the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
